This is my second claim. I am sure glad that I chose this company. Cheaper than buying extended warranty from the dealership. I bought this for peace of mind and I am glad that I did. Obvi paid the claim quickly. Was basically hassle free. Check them out if you are looking to extend your vehicle warranty.

OBVI is the best – with one caveat. My mechanic said this was his best experience with warranty claim. Repair almost $4,000 approved in minutes and payment just as quick. The caveat has to do with the rental of a car for service delays. I have a lot of experience reading legal documents but I find the wording impossible to understand. I like the cash settlement option rather than dealer credit only payable to dealers that other policies have. Warranty prices and replacement premiums are very competitive and partial loss deductible goes to $500 whereas competitors only $300.

My initial intention was to purchase an extended warranty from the manufacturer, but their rules were so onerous and costly that I simply couldn’t justify it. A friend had told me about Obvi so I contacted them to see if they would cover my vehicle, (not all companies will cover higher end vehicles), and they would. The signup process was simple, the documentation clearly outlined what they would or would not cover and their price seemed fair, plus they are Canadian (and that can be a big plus), so I went ahead. Bought the extended warranty coverage a while back for my BMW as the dealership wanted an arm and a leg (and a third born). Just had a small warranty claim over the past week and the process was smooth as butter. You just need to let your repair shop know that you’ll be using them, the repair shop calls into them, and they approve it. $100 deductible paid to the shop (and some extra $ for some shop supplies that it doesn’t cover which was about $65 in my case) and you’re out the door. Check to be sure if the warranty covers everything you’d like them to cover.
